2017年第73屆美國(guó)生殖醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)年會(huì)（ASRM）將于2017年10月28-11月1日在美國(guó)德克薩斯州圣安東尼奧亨利·B·岡薩雷斯會(huì)議中心召開。

美國(guó)生殖醫(yī)學(xué)學(xué)會(huì)是一個(gè)致力于生殖醫(yī)學(xué)和實(shí)踐發(fā)展的多學(xué)科組織，是生殖醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域里最權(quán)威的組織，它覆蓋生殖醫(yī)學(xué)領(lǐng)域所有專業(yè)。生殖醫(yī)學(xué)的范圍廣泛，從青春期到絕經(jīng)期，包括男性和女性，同時(shí)具有分子和宏觀的內(nèi)容。本次會(huì)議將會(huì)有來(lái)自多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)從事生殖領(lǐng)域的醫(yī)生、科研工作者、教育工作者參與研討會(huì)議。ASRM每年召開一次世界范圍的大會(huì)，最近的會(huì)議是2016年在美國(guó)鹽湖城、2015年在美國(guó)馬里蘭州巴爾地摩、2014年在美國(guó)火奴魯魯。

本次會(huì)議的主題是"Advancing Reproductive Medicine to Build Healthy Families”。正如會(huì)議主題，會(huì)議內(nèi)容包含生殖醫(yī)學(xué)和技術(shù)的各個(gè)方面，從最新的分子和遺傳技術(shù)到對(duì)給患者的指導(dǎo)，特別關(guān)注家庭健康、幸福。本次大會(huì)將探討通過利用生殖醫(yī)學(xué)解決不育或生育保育的家庭建設(shè)。

Welcome to the historic city of San Antonio, Texas, and the 73rdannual meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. This year’sASRM Scientific Congress & Expo theme is “Advancing Reproductive Medicineto Build Healthy Families.” As the theme implies, this Congress will encompassall aspects of reproductive medicine and technology, with a special focus onhealth.                          

Dr. Anne Steiner, Chair of the Scientific Congress Program Planning Committee, Dr. Karine Chung, Chair of the Pre-Congress Program Committee, andmembers of their organizing teams have designed a comprehensive, provocative program for Congress attendees.The agenda ranges from the latest molecular andgenetic technologies to advocacy for our patients with a focus on access tocare. The program is designed to address the educational and intellectual needsof physicians, nurses, and rology and embryology laboratory personnel, genetic counselors, social workers, practice and laboratory managers, as well aspractitioners in mental health, law, and ethics.

The Scientific Congress Continuing Medical Education (CME) courseofferings will include a stimulating collection of plenary lectures, symposia,and interactive sessions, all supporting the theme of the Congress.Historicalperspectives will be presented, as well as cutting-edge lectures on uterinetransplantation, novel methods of contraception, menopausal therapy, and thebasic science of spermatogenesis and embryo development.

Faculty also will address pseudoscientific claims, provide perspectiveson the dissemination of scientific information through the media, and contrastin vitro fertilization in humans with other animal species.

The interactive sessions are designed to energize and stimulatediscussion and interaction among participants, as they focus on a wide range ofcontroversial topics. CME sessions will be complemented by non-CME activities includingintimate, in-depth luncheons with recognized experts, and oral and posterformatscientific abstract presentations, representing cutting-edge research in reproductivemedicine and biology.

Symposia will include those organized and presented by ourinternational sister societies. Further, Dr. Chung and members of thePre-Congress Program Committee have collaborated with our affiliated societiesand professional and special interest groups to present a wide range of Pre-Congresscourses designed to meet the needs of clinicians, scientists, laboratory technologists,nurses, and other health-care and allied professionals.
